Vicki Ruff Interior Designer Rochester NYBackground and Accomplishments:

Vicki Ruff fully designed and furnished "The Toscana" at the 2009 Rochester Homearama Show, including all interior and exterior building selections. Her Music Room at the 2006 RPO Symphony Show House was voted "People's Favorite" and “Most Incredible Transformation.”

Vicki's work has been published in Rochester Magazine, New York Design Magazine, Great Homes of Rochester, The Brighton Pittsford Post and The Democrat and Chronicle on several occasions.

Vicki has worked for Rochester's finest homebuilders including Woodstone Custom Homes, PrideMark Homes, Morrell Builders, FSI Construction, and Bowering Construction. In that capacity, she designed and furnished numerous model homes, made interior and exterior selections for builder spec homes, and assisted countless new homebuyers through the building selection process. She has been directly involved in the building selection process for over 100 newly constructed homes.

A 1984 graduate of Cornell University and native of Pittsford, Vicki left her career in corporate marketing to pursue her passion for Interior Design. She attended the Interior Design Program at MCC and began a full-time career as a professional designer in 1998. She lives in Penfield with her husband Mike, a realtor with Re/Max Realty Group and business professor at Monroe Community College. Their daughter Lindsey attends Bucknell University, and their one-year-old son Michael Jordan Ruff (“MJ”) is expected to become a famous basketball player. Vicki prides herself on being “Rochester’s Oldest Mom.” Vicki enjoys singing in her church choir, and volunteered at Lollypop Farm for several years featuring homeless pets on Channel 8’s “Pet of the Week” segment. There is no need to cage your pets (or clean) when Vicki visits your home.
